Actors

So I was thinking today about how as a society we have become so good at putting on this act.  This act that everything in my life is perfect.  I have the perfect job, husband, kids, house and the list goes on and on.  We have gotten to be such good liars that we don't even know what truth is anymore.  But here is the truth.  We are not perfect and neither is our life.  There is death, sadness, broken relationships, and pain that comes in many different forms.  As humans , at one time or another, did not measure up to someones standards and have at one time disappointed someone that we would never want to disappoint.  If we are truly honest with ourselves we know that this is true.  We would be lying if we said we didn't.  But what we need to realize is that we are not called to be perfect, but to be made perfect in Him.  Because as my dear friend Tina said.  His love covers a multitude of imperfections.  Aren't we so lucky that it does?
