Lent is upon us and I usually partake in Lent.
This year, however, I could not think of anything that I wanted or felt like I should give up.
Last year it was meat. This year... racked my brain for weeks and nothing.
Around the same time I had decided that I wanted to start living on purpose.
So for Lent, a little different I know,
I am living on purpose.
Instead of waiting for the cosmos to set up some opportunities to do something kind,
I have take it upon myself to make things happen.
Create my own opportunities.
The other thing that I am doing,
I realize that I am starting a bit late,
is reading 40 Days with Jesus and The Purpose Driven Life.
