I have been thinking lately that life is like a roller coaster.

It has its ups and downs.

In some ways it is no different than someone who doesn't have God in their life.

We still have bills to pay, arguments with family, sickness, death the list goes on and on.

There is one HUGE difference however.

We have Jesus.  

We know (although sometimes we forget) that Jesus is still in control.

There is a plan and a purpose behind everything that happens in our life.

So what do we do?

Hang on!

Suffer with Christ.  

Did you notice I said "with"?

Jesus is sad with you when you are hurt by the world.

By partaking in His suffering, we must not forget,

we will also partake in His glory.

And that, my friend, will make it so worth it.

 

So yes life is like a roller coaster.  It has its ups and downs.

But the coaster is on a track.  It only goes certain places.  

It has a purpose and it always comes to an end.

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

When every moment is more than I can take
And all of my strength is slipping away
When every breath gets harder me
You carry me, Jesus carry me
