I have a purpose, as do my brothers and sisters in Christ.
We all have to work together to achieve it.
No one person is more important than the other.
Each plays a vital role.
We are a team.
This I have always known.
What I always seem to forget about is the opposing team.
We can not undermine the other team.
They also have a purpose and its to try and stop my team from scoring points.
They are not a weak team.
They, I would even say, are rather organized.
They have a game plan
and they are also playing hard and at times a bit dirty.
I have to realize that they may not always get called out on their fouls.
And it may even seem that they are ahead and winning the game...
BUT...
My Father also has a game plan and a perfect one at that.
We may not know the details of the whole game but we do know the outcome.
That's right! We will win. We will come out victorious!
All we have to remember is that Jesus is our coach.
We have to play by his game plan. It's flawless!
I got a little blind sided today by the other team.
They played a little dirty. Okay very dirty.
I got knocked off of my feet.
Their foul didn't get called.
But the game is not over and Jesus' team has this in the bag.
It is not time to give up but play harder.
So get up!
Your team needs you.
More importantly you need your team.
They game is not over.
It is not time to rest.
We will have plenty of rest at the victory party!
